MSU Gran Fondo

MSU Gran Fondo is back and bigger than ever and we need your help!

This year alone nearly 70,000 people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with some form of skin cancer. So the MSU Gran Fondo is joining the fight. The money we fundraise will go towards supporting research into new therapies aimed at increasing long term survival for skin cancer patients and a better quality of life in the future.

Volunteers play the most vital role before, during, and after the event. Without your help we simply wouldn't be able to make the MSU Gran Fondo one of the top fondos in the United States. With 2,000+ riders expected this year we'll need volunteers to help check in riders, support the Finish Line Festival team, keep riders safe on the roads, and more.

Volunteers must be 18+ or accompanied by an adult. Volunteers are also encouraged to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes during their shifts. All volunteer positions will be outdoors and we can not guarantee shelter from the weather at each volunteer position.

Please show up for your shift 30 minutes before your start time. If you are volunteering for a position at the Start / Finish Line Festival Volunteer please check in at the Volunteer Tent located at the Finish Line Festival. All other volunteers will be sent an email with directions to their locations - these include rest stop and course marshal volunteers. You will receive your volunteer t-shirt and be given any additional information or supplies upon your arrival.

All volunteers are required to attend the Volunteer Training on Wednesday, June 22nd at The B.O.B. Additional training information will be emailed separately.

If you need to cancel your shift we ask that you do so 48 hours before your shift to ensure that we are able to find a replacement. Each position is vital to the event and we'll need to make sure all positions are filled.
